Kazumi Yamashita
Debuted in 1980 with her first work, “Oshiire Monogatari,” published in Shueisha's weekly magazine Margaret.
She then began serializing “The Life of Professor Yanagisawa” in Kodansha's comic magazine Morning while continuing to work on shōjo manga. She won the Kodansha Manga Award for this work.
Her serialized work “Land” in the same magazine won the 25th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize Manga Grand Prize in 2021.
Currently, while engaged in preservation activities for The former Ozaki Theodora Residence, she is serializing “Twisted Sisters” in the magazine, Morning.
Other notable works include “a Wonder Boy,” “Dandy and I,” “Ghost Rhapsody,” and “BOY.”
