Shō Kitagawa
Born in 1967. Made his manga debut in 1981 at the age of 13. Known for his refined storytelling and elegant art style, Kitagawa has created a wide range of works, beginning with shōjo manga.
A true connoisseur of manga, he authored Kami Manga 1970–2020: Hot-Blooded Masterpieces as Told by a Pro (International Shinsho), in which he analyzes major hits and traces the evolution of manga history.
His notable works include 19 <NINETEEN> and Hotman, which was adapted into a TV drama.
