We started making this calendar with the concept of "a calendar that allows you to carry novels more casually in your daily life," and thanks to you, this year marks our fourth year of production!

[53 carefully selected memorable passages]
We have carefully selected passages from 15 novels, from his debut work "Eclipse" (1998) to his latest work "True Feelings" (2021), as well as short stories "Stress Relay," "Mount Fuji," and "Breath," which have not yet been published in book form. You can enjoy 53 passages, one of which will be published every week.
The selected passages based on the readers' votes include a variety of long and short sentences. They are words that give you strength every day, change the way you look at your daily life, and make you want to reread the novel. They are words that suddenly stay in your mind in your daily life.

[Anniversaries for each work]
The "publication date" can be considered the birthday of each work. We don't usually pay attention to the publication date of a book, but it seems interesting to think back to the day that the work was released into the world as a book once a year. In connection with "Funeral", we will also list the birthdays and death dates of Chopin and Delacroix.
You can also use it as a simple memo section.

The theme changes with each month, such as "About Beauty" in April, "Passages that make you feel the exhilaration of traveling" in May, and "Passages that suit the rain" in June, so the feeling after reading the "passage" will also change completely. Throughout the year, you can turn the pages with excitement, wondering, "What kind of passage will come next...?"
