This year marks the third installment of our story x chocolate project.
This year, we will be delivering chocolates that will allow you to witness the history of the story and recall the memories you have shared with the piece.
The "Ikoku Nikki" chocolate series features a mechanism that allows viewers to trace the diary that Asa began writing when she was in the third year of junior high school, witnessing the daily changes and mental landscapes of Asa, and recalling the emotions and memories they had when reading scenes from the manga.
The front side is decorated with color illustrations that symbolize the situation at each moment in the morning, and the back side features frames of what the morning person saw, heard, said, or thought at that time. The volume and story numbers are written, so please enjoy the time to reminisce about the story while savoring your chocolate.
The "Beginning of the Diary ver." features a color visual from volume 1. On the back is an episode about the day Asa and Makio started living together.
The "Awareness of Loneliness ver." features a color visual from volume 3. On the back is an episode about learning about the fundamental loneliness that comes with being an individual human being.
The "Morning From Now On ver." features visuals from the latest volume, Vol. 10, which will be released in February 2023. On the back, there is an episode that shows a strong determination for the future, in which, despite being lonely, she says, "I want to become the person I want to be."
