Manga artist Yamashita Tomoko's serialized work in "FEEL YOUNG", "Ikoku Nikki", is a tale of a girl's novelist, Makio (35), and a middle school girl, Asa (15), a clumsy queen, and her puppy-like niece, living together despite the age gap!
Even after it is completed, it will remain with "Ikoku Nikki."

The 12 months are colored with carefully selected color illustrations from the magazine "FEEL YOUNG" (not included in the book) and preview cuts. The calendar captures Makio and the colorful moments of the morning, as well as everyday life, as recorded in "Ikoku Nikki."
In order to highlight the color original, the overall design is based on white, giving a clean impression and a lightness as if a moment had been captured. One of the best parts of the book is being able to enjoy the unique use of color that appears in the color original, and the watercolor-like brushstrokes.

The color of the page is light blue, matching the cover. I chose a color that evokes the motifs that appeared in the final episode, ships, the sea, and morning light. It gives the impression of transparency, as if it is slightly see-through with light.
