[Synopsis]
Nanami Kishimoto (Yumi Kawai) is a high school student. At school, she is unable to join the circle of sparkling first-string girls, and is paired with Amagase Tamaki (Momoko Fukuchi), who is also a third-string girl. One day, while living with a somewhat complicated sense of self, she receives a call from her mother Hitomi (Maki Sakai). Her younger brother Sota (Aoi Yoshida), who has Down's syndrome, may have shoplifted. Nanami's hectic days continue, with one impossible event after another occurring... Facing various events such as the death of her beloved father Kosuke (Ryo Nishikido) and life with her grandmother Yoshiko (Jun Miho), who is too laid-back, Nanami desperately laughs them off and sometimes cries, but is she going to make it big as a "writer"... or is that the plan?
