Norifusa Mita

Born in Kitakami, Iwate Prefecture in 1958. Graduated from Meiji University's School of Politics and Economics. Notable works include "Dragon Zakura," "Investor Z," "Angel Bank," "Cross Country," and "Crown of Sand."

He won the 29th Kodansha Manga Award in 2005 for "Dragon Zakura," and the Excellence Award in the Manga Division of the 2005 Japan Media Arts Festival, both of which were awarded by the Agency for Cultural Affairs. He is currently serializing "Archimedes no Taisen" in "Young Magazine."
